Prague Coffee Festival 2016

COFFEE FESTIVAL OUR TIP On both Saturday and Sunday, you can visit the 5th year anniversary of the Prague Coffee Festival. Discover various kinds of coffee from all around the world, watch a milk bottle contest in drawing with milk foam, enjoy professional cups of coffee, or attend one of numerous workshops. Learn the basics of Latte art or simply how to prepare the best cup of coffee at home. MINT: Weekend Market

SHOPPING OUR TIP On Saturday, you can enjoy shopping a bit differently. Inspired by Bangkok and London’s Camden Town, there is going to be a local market focused on fashion, design, gastronomy, coffee, books, and bio cosmetics, in Holešovice. Enjoy your shopping in a creative atmosphere accompanied by music. This regular market takes place every Saturday, between 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. There is no entrance fee. Address: Hall 13, MINT Market, Prague 7.

2nd International Food Truck Show

FOOD FESTIVAL OUR TIP On Saturday, the biggest food trucks event in Europe will be taking place at the Prague Holešovice Exhibition Grounds (“Výstaviště Holešovice”). You can look forward to very special, creative trucks with dishes from Hungary, Belgium, Italy and Poland. You can, for example, see a special “food rickshaw”, a giant grill, or a field kitchen. There will also be a show of American classic cars (the so-called “veterans”) and graffiti spraying of one of the trucks. Pumpkin Festival in Botanical Garden

FAMILY EVENT On Saturday or Sunday, why not take your family to the Botanical garden of Prague to enjoy fun with pumpkins. Let your children create animals and other figures out of pumpkins, while you admire the autumn beauty of the garden, taste a great pumpkin soup, or learn how to draw with coloured sand. Halloween Photography for Children

FAMILY EVENT Yet another pumpkin-related event is due to take place on both Saturday and Sunday in Prague 6. FAMILY EVENT Does your family love animals? On Saturday, take them for a special trip to see wild horses, buffalos and long-extinct aurochs in a unique nature preserve. Winter Slide Challenge

SPORTS On Sunday, there is a special event for “adrenaline junkies” taking place at the “Hostivařská přehrada” water dam. If you feel resilient enough, you can partake in a contest combining running and water sliding. The crazy event for fans of toughness takes place as part of a “games with no borders” project. You can, of course, come and just watch with some nice, warm drinks. The contest starts at 1 p.m., and the registration fee for contestants is 100,- CZK. Address: Hostivařská přehrada, K Jezeru, Prague 4.
