In the Myslbek passage, connecting the popular shopping street Na Příkopě with the Ovocný trh square, you can see a rather unique piece of design art. Created by the famous Czech designer Maxim Velčovský, the biggest glass installation in Central Europe now decorates the Myslbek Shopping Gallery. The public space of several metro stations will undergo changes. The improvements should, among other things, include the removal of aggressive advertising and inappropriate furniture equipment or – per contra – widening of the range of services available and design enhancement. Prague’s official representatives have lost their patience with self-described “artists” damaging walls in the capital’s public spaces with graffiti. Some of the districts decided to launch a service, which will ensure clearance of the markings within few days, not only on public buildings, but also private ones.
